Alice Kerr
"I love vegetables. And thus I love farmers' markets. It's as simple as that. I eat an apple almost every day (and no, it does not keep the doctor away), so every Wednesday I hit up Beechwood--one of our two produce vendors--for my weekly stock of apples. Honey Crisps, Gold Rushes, and Northern Spies. Fresh produce at its finest! I'm excited to see the market grow this year. Dairy vendor, perhaps? I'm excited about baguettes from Emmanuel and paella from Christian. But I'm most excited to work the people that make GU Farmers' Market a reality every Wednesday-- the volunteers."
