Cervantes Coffee Roasters is a family owned business based in Northern Va right off the beltway. We sell our coffee in specialty stores like YES Organic and other organic retailers in the DC Metro area. We also sell to local restaurants and coffee shops. We buy direct trade coffees from farmers and we roast the coffee right here in Springfield. My husband is from Peru and I am from Bolivia so we get direct coffees from these two countries, contributing to local farmers there to improve their lives with above average prices for their coffees. We also source from Central and South America and Africa. We carry organic coffees as well as shade grown. Our warehouse and roastery is a learning ground where we provide trainings and tours of the whole coffee process for adults and youth (video and on hands processing). Its open to the public and its about letting people experience a little about where the coffee they drink comes from. We also farm a small area of coffee in Samaipata, Bolivia. Coffee is not grown in the Continental US, so the next best thing is to have locally roasted coffee.
